Subject: washing dishes Author: alicea{AGL*} [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 16:51:08 01/14/02 Mon (19:36:30) [PIC] ~*~ alicea ~*~ {AGL*} Axe Glacier Lagar ~ XC : ~ bringing a large kettle out from the dry storage closet...filing it with half water from the water barrel and half with water from above the flames....dipping her fingers in she finds it at just the right temperature...sprinkling in soap flakes...piling all the dishes in to let them soak for a moment ~ (19:39:49) [PIC] ~*~ alicea ~*~ {AGL*} Axe Glacier Lagar ~ XC : ~ spreading a rep cloth on the counter....taking up another thick rep cloth....dunking the cloth into the water she brings a tankard to the surface....squishing the cloth into the tankard to clean the inside...setting it on the counter to dry she starts on the first of the bowls she let the milk set in...putting some pressure on the sides so she cleans it throughly not wanting to leave any residue ~ (19:43:16) [PIC] ~*~ alicea ~*~ {AGL*} Axe Glacier Lagar ~ XC : ~ working her way thru the rest of the dishes....pots, pans, drinking vessels, plates, bowls, untensils and all manner of other things....sitting each on the cloth to drip dry....wringing the cloth out before sitting it on the counter....lugging the kettle full of dirty water akwardly to the outside door...unlatching the door she tips the kettle so the water flows into the snow melting it....closing the door and relatching it....wiping the inside of the kettle dry before placing the kettle in the storage closet for later use ~ (19:46:18) [PIC] ~*~ alicea ~*~ {AGL*} Axe Glacier Lagar ~ XC : ~ with another clean thick rep cloth she starts wiping each piece before putting it back in it's proper place...humming a happy lil tune as she padds around the servery at her task....once everything is put away she wipes the counter down so it is dry...putting the cloths in the pile to be washed....seeing that pile is getting real high...makes her way toward the serving furs in the Hall ~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
