: ~ dark gaze glancing softly around the Hall...with no Frees in the Hall to beg to serve...lifting her womanly curves to lil feet...padding serenely across the Hall to the servery...once at the outside door she removes her kirtle from the hook...pulling the wool over her head...wiggling her way into it....unlatching the large door...shivering at first from the change in temperature...stepping out into the snow....closing the door behind her....making her way down the path ~

: ~ plodding as gracefully as possible through the snow...striding into the barn...taking a lingering look around having always liked barns....slipping into a side room for a three-legged stool as well as two buckets ~

: ~ placing one of the buckets outside a stall...seeing one she believes to be a gentle beast...opening the gate while whispering soothing words...latching it behind her...putting the stool on the ground....arranging herself on it to milk...placing the bucket beneath the animals teats...gently grasping one in each hand....starts a milkin ~

: ~ pulling the teats downward firmly yet gently...hearing the milk begin to flow out of the bosk into the bucket...pulling the teats downward one at a time her shoulders rolling with each pull...watching carefully to insure that the milk doesn't spill over...seeing the pail three-quarters of the way full...rising to her feet...picking the bucket up with one hand and the stool with the other...slipping out of the stall ~

: ~ setting the full bucket of milk down...picking up the empty bucket...intending to try and make cheese tomorrow...spotting another beast that looks gentle and in need of milking...stepping quietly into it's stall....beginning the process over again...once the buckets are both full...closing the gate to the second stall...placing the milking stool back in it's place...picking up a bucket in each hand...making her way out of the barn...down the path to the Hall ~

: ~ managing to open the door without spilling the milk....stepping with a shiver into the warmth of the servery...relatching the door securely behind her...heaving open the door to the chillery...placing both buckets inside to be kept cool...closing the door with her bottom...pulling her kirtle off over her head...hanging it on the hook next to the door...making her way toward the Hall ~
