WHO SHOULD BE BLAMED? REGINE IS MANAGING HERSELF NOW, RIGHT?
I DON'T THINK IT'S SOMEBODY ELSE'S FAULT.

Well, guess what?

She does have a management company. Its called
Aria Productions. And Regine's new manager (I call
her the co-manager) is her sister Cacai Velasquez.
Yes, the singer. Who is married to Regine's musical
director. No, not Gerald Salonga. The other musical
director. lolz..

mmJun ;-}

But someone tell us where this management company
is keeping house at?

mmJun:

The project was made by Reg and Legrand. But the
distribution of the album to the market local market
is with Viva. For international distribution.. (?)

It was said that Viva would only work/complete/assist
co-finance(?) the project if they had a co-financer.
The one that came forwarded to do that was maxi-media
(International)

But something went down. And no one is really talking.

You ever noticed how you really don't hear the news?
All you really get to hear and read is just the
promo stuff. The paid articles. But never the
music news. This is important news. But you can't
even find a reporter to cover it. All we have
'sitting around' are "writers." And they are
paid to write the material out they are given
in their own style and manner.

:-(

What can I say? Except that you are wrong
when you said its Regine's fault. Its not.
She's the one who gets the ball made. Who
gets it rolling and who stops it from rolling
is who will ultimately get most of the blame.

it's maximedia's co-producers to blame...they had a rift. the project was affected because it was both their brainchild. legrand was upset. so does regine. info from an infallible source.

tell your infallible Regine source
that I know a well-off Regine watcher who
is willing to look into the details of the
agreement and if reasonable would consider
taking the place of the former financer/investor.

I think LeGrand is asking for an exorbitant talent fee that is unreasonable that even Streisand herself would not pay.

You think so?

Aba. I bet there are people in society who can handle
whatever the fee is. I seen some of those high roller
types in the front seat concert before. They probably
change their cars every new model season. But can't
sing worth anything no matter how much money they have.

So having someone like Regine forfill that dream for them
should be worth whatever it takes to them as well.

I'm pushing for fans to make some reasonable noise towards
the direction it should be at so those who are involve in
that group will share with us the reasons about the project
so if something like money is the problem those of 'us' who
can maybe help can get to work for them to solve it and
make things move again.

Anyone know what I'm saying here?
hmmm..?

;-)

the project was postponed/cancelled? due to a gap/feud between the 2 co-producers of maximedia.

I strongly believe it's VIVA's fault... again, it's my personal opinion based on some buzzes from Viva talent.

Jun:
Another fan above gave one explanation to what might
have happened. I did hear about the co-producer/
financer having some difficulties/problems with
some other area of their work that crossed over
and started to affect everything they do including
this project. Still, up to now- no official words
about it from all three parties. Sad to say..

Regine fan Agetro is a good Regine fan. And he's
one fan I respect. But the 'wait and see' attitude
isn't the way to go sometimes. I know you know
that because when Regine had her Canada incident
you were one of the fans who didn't like the same
idea some other fan had about the whole thing when
she said 'let's just wait and see.' You and several
other fans knew better.

In this case just like the Canada incident having
a 'wait & see' stance about everything could mean
the same as letting another chance and opportunity
to do a good thing die a natural death.

That's the way I feel. If you still feel the same
about it then I will respect it and leave it as
you think it should be. And hope you're right.

:-(

But the suspense is killing fans. Not kiliging fans.

(lolz.)

Depends na man..
But if you consider his stuff boring?
Then what do you call Ogie's material?!
Da same, di ba?

Jun says:
Depends on what her selection of Legrand material
is. And it was to be an internation release!

Ogie's album you want (which I want too. Good idea)
can only really be a local release. Reg can easily
do several releases at the same time. Its been done
alot in the past.

Mas

Here's a great idea! Calling Ogie.. Tell your wife
to wait a few more months pa, hehe-

mmJun ;-)
I do believe one of the songs Regine recorded
was "HAPPY."

Here's a music trivia for you-
"Happy" was one of the songs I sang in class
back in grade school. hehe.. Before I lost my
high pitch kid's voice. ( shhhh, don't tell
any of my friends. My rough ones. lolz..)
