A note to my Regine fans readers who were
members of RVML1 at the time I was before-

Want to help sell Regine's old music catalog? Get her a booking
on Oprah. That'll do the trick. Would Regine have a story to
tell? I think she would have several nice ones to share with
the american public.

Would Oprah like Regine? Without a doubt. How about Regine's
music? The first time this topic was brought before Regine
fans it wasn't sure. But since then based on who she had
a music guests there I have to say "double-without-a-doubt!

Remember how "The Oprah Winfrey Show" delivered four consecutive
chart ripples during the sweeps month of May? Now the reruns are
flexing their muscles. Those repeats brought George Michael
(news)'s "Patience" the Greatest Gainer on last week's Billboard 200
and this week delivers gains for Lionel Richie (No. 89, up 200%, and
No. 91, up 66%).

When did Regine fans discuss trying to help Regine get an
appearance on Oprah? It was during the time she had her
problems with the U.S. Embassy in Manila. When she ALMOST
got a 5-year suspension. But those of us who had the faith
(and inside buzz) knew it would be more like just 5-months.

So where are those females who were thinking about writing
to Oprah and asking if she would like to hear some of Regine's
songs? And then maybe she wouldn't mind if Regine made an
appearance there. What's a good reason? Well, you can tell
her about how her former manager doesn't want Oprah ( and
anyone else ) helping to promote Regine. And you can share
the story about Regine's own media publicist is the one
who has been spreading false rumors about her. Trying
to destroy her decent public image. That'll be a good
start. You know Oprah.. women power. If there something
she won't stand for is hearing about how a decent talented
woman is being undermined and held back by the very men
she is associated with.

You can bet her ex-management is going to try and steal that idea
first again and try to get someone else to their liking to appear.

herself. Who is still one of the bravest music artists
there has ever been in a LONG while.
