Lea Salonga wins at Aliw Awards? A good thing
or just another political pay-back without her
realizing it? Who won last year? Payment for
not pointing out who are the shameless media
publicist and ex-RV crony behind the rumors
about him and Regine? The Inside Buzz is
focusing its music investigatings more than
one direction. Stay tuned.
NOTE: There has been a few questions asked
about what Lea has done during the time
period of the award. But realize it has
nothing personal to do against the music
icon. But the award show itself. Which
has alot of fine people working with it.
Unfortunately, there is one bad apple
that is spoiling the bunch. >:-(

Wild rumor? That Regis is going to be one
of the special musical guests of Regine in
Decemeber.
Not a wild rumor- that Regine's manager
and 'unbias' musical partner did in fact
write one of the songs found in the album
of Sheryn Reg(ine)is. Who has been linked
to several shows by both major players in
the Regine-Ogie rumors. Which is now
considered the longest running false rumor
in Philippine music history. ( Usually that
means it is being financed. ;-/ )

On Regis.. man, did alot of people hit her hard
for not winning the V.O.A. contest. It is said that
she WAS NOT the first runner up but the 2nd
runner up. But you know, when they first said
she was the first runner-up? I expected the
media to say she did it again! But instead
there was alot of praise. Which in a way
tells you the whole 'she didn't win' stories
were as we were thinking they were in the
first place- planned and alot of hot air..
This is how the movie business runs. I take
it personally that some of these 'players'
are turning the music scene into shams
like the movie scene has been. >:-/

New Bird Species Found in Philippines

( Wat? Did the rest of the world suddenly discover
Regine Velasquez?! lolz.. )
MANILA, Philippines - Filipino and British wildlife researchers
say they've stumbled upon what appears to be a new species of
(a)flightless bird found only on the tiny forested island
of Calayan in the northern Philippines.
Note: Maybe Regine was vacationing there at the time.

UPDATE - Last call for investors to bid on Google

NEW YORK, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Time is running out for prospective investors to submit their offers to buy shares of Google Inc. (NasdaqNM:GOOG - News), the Web's No. 1 search company.
On Monday Google asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to declare its registration statement effective on Tuesday at 4 p.m. EDT (2000 GMT) -- the final approval it needs to wind down the bidding and move on to pricing the deal.
Once the statement is declared effective, the Mountain View, California-based company would be free to close the bidding and price the IPO, moving it a step closer to its market debut, in which it is selling 25.7 million shares in an auction that began last Friday. Google has estimated the shares will price at $108 to $135 each.
If the deal prices on Tuesday, shares of the popular search engine could make their debut on the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. (OTC BB:NDAQ.OB - News) as soon as Wednesday.
