Ah, now we are starting to talk and have some good
communication here. This is something we welcome
and can appreciate.

Ok. Point taken. Lani can probably endure doing daily
shows in Las Vegas (with her group) better than Regine
would. She got the show band experience for it.

Regine would do concerts in Vegas but I doubt she is
willing to do long series of shows there unless
she decided to settle down in the U.S.

I ain't bored with Regine's kind of music yet. When
it starts to happen all Regine fans will hear about it
too. Seems to be getting more accepted if you asked me.
Just on an article on AMERICAN IDOL earlier today said
something about all the contestants are doing what I
would call "Regine stuff and style" on the show.

This is Regine time in America. And they will grow old
and tired of it just like they did when Barry Manilow
had his run on the music charts. But he also came back
too. On the front page of the Music Inside Buzz there
is an article on his shows opening also in Las Vegas.

What a run he had in the late 70s and early 80's of top
40 hits. And what a run of hit songs Regine had herself
in the 90s.. and today in the local music charts. Her
latest album called "COVERS" still had not left the top 5
on all music charts since December!

It'll end eventually. And Regine's music will be
remember long after her detractors are just " dust in
the wind. "

As for Lani, she like the rest owe alot of her success
to Regine and her influences. I know that. She knows
that. And she should realize that. She deserves better
respect from her own people. And the local music industry
she helped improved than more than its own industry
captains could have thought of.

Baket si Regine lang ang minention mo? Lani copies a lot of artists. You obviously have a distaste for Regine. So much so that you have to post it here.

I am very happy for Lani's success in Vegas, and we all should. Pero sorry tita, a Vegas performer, no matter how successful, is never the batayan ng kasikatan dito sa US. It is in Hollywood, not Vegas. Maraming magicians dyan sa Vegas that have very successful shows pero di kilala. Tingin mo lang na sikat na sikat na si Lani dahil pinoy ka at idol mo sya. But go ask non-filipinos around in the streets of LA or New York or Chicago and let's see if they know Lani Misalucha. Si Britney or Beyonce sigurado kilala nila. When Lani becomes a household name here in America, do'n mo na sabihing sikat na sikat sya. She's there in Vegas kasi medyo wala nang nagyayari sa career nya sa Philippines. But I think she made the right decision, because I really think that she's doing well in Vegas.

I do not think that Lani is as great as Regine. Regine is way greater than Lani. Regine is packing venues way, way, way bigger than that 200+ seater Jubilee Theater. We're talking about her recent concert with Pops at the Grand Olympic (7,000 seating capacity), and other big theaters on their concert tour (marami ring non-filipinos sa audience). So please...

The PYRAMID SCAM that Lani was involve
with is being investigated. But if anyone has
new information about it then let's hear it.

The question to ask is this.. is Lani the
only artist involve or where there other
music artists as well?
