I guess you noticed that this forum coast was cleared
of red tide and spoiled crabs for now. Its safe. Come
on out..

On American Idol. I like to hear what the host would think
about her sytle and voice. Thinking he may have
heard that kind of singing alot before. Not realizing
he was hearing one of the pioneers to rise from
it. He might be surprised to know how long she's
been around and how fresh she seemed with her
performance (you wonder what song she would use.)

And maybe be surprised to learn what Regine's actual
age is. Making aure If she was old enough to have a drink
with him after. hehe..

I think the song she picks to sing would be the one
factor to make all the difference in a situation like
American Idol. No need to impress how well she can
sing other songs that are popular. But get them to
think that maybe the song she was using there shoul be
the first single she must release in their next album
even if she doesn't win. Because I think they'll pick
whoever they really want in the end to be the new
recording artist for them. She's just be known as
preferred runner-up. hehe..

Song for selection? Off my head -
"You are My Song ".. " Pls be Careful With My Heart "

Songs like that only because I sense there is a shift
coming on with the taste of many American music lovers
again. Back to the kind that has poetic romantic meaning.

heto na naman ako, and i might sound biased so pardon me na lang, hahaha. pero siguro regine will totally stand out if ever she is to join american idol. first of all, she has a distintive voice that is only hers and no others, that i don't think any american has ever heard before in mainstream. secondly, regine has a captivating stage presence that the audience can easily become oblivious of the existence of other contenders. and thirdly, she has a dynamite voice that could blow away all the other contestants, and even the judges. i think she'll make it all the way to the top. sorry na lang ang american idol and their millions of viewers, kasi di nila ma witness si regine in action. my memories of watching regine compete at the asia-pacific pop singing competition is still vivid in my mind. and oh my gosh, sobrang grabe talaga. kahit ang mga kalaban nya walang reklamo at obvious na hangang-hanga sa kanya. 'yon lang.
