nakakaloka talaga kayong lahat. heto lang ang masasabi ko. regine does need to take a vacation. well, di ba mawawala sya for over 2 months because of her concert tour sa Europe, then dito sa US? Well, she won't be really resting, but she will be gone from the philippine limelight for a short while, so i'm sure that you guys will miss her. btw, may VIP tickets na ako sa concert nila ni ogie dito sa LA. i'm so excited na nga eh. can't wait.
anyway, heto lang ang masasabi ko sa inyo. i don't think that any of you, or even any other artist for that matter, can relate to what regine is going through right now. ibang level na kasi ang calibre ni regine. and i guess we may not really understand how it is to be up there, and how it is to maintain that status. sometimes i feel sorry for her. lahat na lang ng mga bagong magagaling na artists kino-compare sa kanya, lahat na lang ng kilos nya binabantayan. dagdagan pa ng mga tao that are always speculating kung sino ang papalit kay regine. akala ng karamihan dyan siguro madali lang to be in regine's shoes. we cannot even imagine how it is like to be regine. the least we can do, fans, is to pray for her everyday and give her our unending support. i'm sure regine has her fears too. questions that she doesn't know the answers to. like, how much longer can she last? until when till her voice start to change? until when will her star start to fade? until when will she be no longer appealing to the public? most importantly, until when will her fans continue to support and love her. kung tayo nga na mga fans lang fear of that time that regine will not be able to sing anymore, eh si regine pa kaya. eh mukha yatang pumapanaw na ang loyalty at admiration nyo kay regine.
sa lahat na mga di gaanong fans ni regine dyan. give her naman the respect that is due to her. she has been through a lot to get where she's at. and she made so much accomplishments and contribution to the philippine music industry. bigyan nyo naman sya kahit konting respeto man lang sa mga achievements nya. siguro naman di sya tatagal ng ganito kung wala syang kwentang artist, di ba?
regine will not last forever, and sad to say, she is not that far from retiring. sana man lang nandyan pa rin tayong lahat na mga fans to support her all the way and to make her feel that she has done well in her career...& very well indeed. No singer has ever touched my heart as regine does when she sings. she has inspired so many, for which that inspiration pushed others to be their best.
more power to regine and to all who admires and believes in her wonderful talent.
