At first, we all thought that the show will not push through, since GMA decided to pack-up SOP at 10am today. We tried to exhaust all our efforts to confirm if the Sun & Stars show will push through. We called up ULTRA and GMA, and they confirmed that the Show will go on. We also tried to contact and ask the help of "the powers that be" to confirm Regine's attendance in the said event. We were highly doubtful at first because there were Police and Military Barricades in the Northern Luzon Expressway, which prevented motorists from entering Manila. At 5pm, the barricades and check points cleared up, so Regine and Deca were able to traverse the highway and get themselves to the ULTRA in time. Regine sang a medley of her well-loved Songs (On The Wings, I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, Parangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka, etc.) She wore a beautiful red gown with some see-through sections. Her makeup was very simple, yet very elegant. She was truly the most radiant STAR in the show. She did a short spiel, and left in a huff. We were initially told that she was going to have another show at the Podium, but due to the tension in Makati, they just decided to go home immediately. So did we. Though we were quite unsure about the show and the situation here in Manila, I was glad that it all went well and that we were able to enjoy Regine's Singing Prowess.
