Geez.. You ever wonder why so many Regine fans get worried about
expressing some of their opinions on the lists? Well, not on this
list too much. It has to be the other list where some of you know
you got to watch what you're saying. But check out the front of
this mailing list. You can talk anything Regine. And I'm sure
she meant even the critical opinions. So don't let the thought
of being misunderstood badly stop you from saying what you
really think. Because its can be important what fans really
think and feel to those concern. We do have Reg's musical
director in the back ground. I'm sure what fans may think
wrong about some topics and issues would be of an interest
to people like him. Sometimes. So speak up if you think you
have something to say that can be relevant to know.
And anyone who feels they are being bothered by 'anyone'
should bring it up so we can start tagging who is just here
to be the 'real' bother on purpose.
By the way, I think a Darna movie with Regine as the lead character
is not something I would consider a good idea. Except among us,
of course. hehe.. But from a movie industry point of view I would
have to say someone is either nuts or likes making unrealistic
wishful thinking public. Or was just making sip-sip to the artist.
Just because she looked sexy in character? Sus.. We don't need
to make a movie for that.
It probably looks and sounds interesting from any movie
studio's point of view in terms of profit. But from our
point of view (fans) it would probably turn out to be her
'WaterWorld' rather than than her 'Titanic.' And that
could ruin her midas magic touch real fast.
Fans like to see Regine in the movies. No doubt. But are we Darna
fans as well? Can Regine really be Darna in the real sense of what
the character really looks like? Does Regine have the beer
poster look potential? Nah ..
The only thing Darna about Regine was Reg's personal character.
And you don't have to make a Darna flick to showcase that.
I think the reason someone 'big' would consider going ahead with
a full-length movie with Regine as Darna would because they see
an easy profit making factor more than an artistic factor in
it. So expect to see something we might not be bragging too
much about. If its just to see her in that sexy Costume again
then ask her to bring it along at the next private fan gathering
among us. di ba?
And then some can fight over who's turn it is
to try it on. lolz..
Besides, Regine mentioned she wasn't up to the kind of physical
demands it takes to make the movie. And then look at the last
actress who was Darna. Regine will have to do alot of uh,
padding to measure up there. lolz..
They'll need to contact her old handlers then. They seem to
know the most about adding alot of padding to an artist's image.

mmJun: I also heard from someone who felt Darna was the wrong
(he actually said worst) thing she ever decided to do. But I'm for
one am glad she did the film because she helped proved a theory of
mine about her. That she has this ability to make a wrong or bad
decision look good and acceptable and even successful.
And that, Regine fans.. is a very special thing to have. That would
be the real X-factor everyone wished they had in showbiz.
Because if its done the same way by someone else it would've just
fail.
