And here's what I can say of that segment. She started off really well, and as I continued to listen, I've been waiting for that part that bad Regine critics mentioned that she messed up big time. I guess those bad Regine critics over-reacted a bit. She did not make any humiliating mistakes whatsoever. I have to agree though that she did look like she was struggling at the challenging part of the song, which is very unlikely of her for she's always been known to be able to sing dificult songs effortlessly. She was a little off a couple of times (not flat), but those were very minor flaws that you cannot really call tragic. Overall, she did an OK performance. On the other hand, I have to applause her that she was able to pull that number off along with other numbers she performed in that episode (Greatest love of all & I'll never love this way again), cause I'm sure that she is still recovering from her series of shows last December, and her voice is not well rested yet. I guess bad Regine critics noticed it right away and made a big deal about it. But how come they never mentioned Lani's and Jaya's flaws in their performances? Oh I forgot, those flaws are pretty common with those two that it's no longer a surprise... :-) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

It seems that her voice hasn't recovered yet. I hope it's nothing permanent. I agree. She could have sung TTR effortlessly in the past even if hung upside down.
