^As he continued to climb, he continued to wince and grumble all the way up. Having to stop every few rocks or so. As he climbed up one more, a bat suddenly raced out from one of the little crevasses between the rocks. Startling him as he hadn't seen or heard it until it took off, he jumped, smacking his head on the bottom of a rock sticking out above him with a thud.^ OUCH! SON OF A...!! ^He barked, then gasped as it echoed down the canyon.^...Stupid flying rat. ^He grumbled as he rubbed his now sore head, scowling in it's direction as it flew off...^
