I didn't have any family lost in the tragedy, seeming I live halfway across the country.. but I have friends who did, plust the fact I'm a very sensitive person to this kind of thing.. all I really have to say is I hate my school, they REFUSED to turn on ANY televisions for fear kids would want to go home, the Taliban is an EVIL MOFO ORGANIZATION, Bin Laden can go F*CK himself, the ass-licking, bitch-slapping gay-arses. They give Muslims a VERY bad name. I have friends who are Muslim, and they're really cool people. I can't STAND these people who act all racist against Muslims JUST BECAUSE there were a couple bad people from Afghanistan! It's so fricking stupid...
There was one of those National Guard people on one of the the bridges over the highway on the 9/11 anniversary, and my friend Pam completely stopped her car (with me and some friends in it) and we all yelled "WE LOVE YOU!!!!" at the top of our lungs, and he saluted us.. it was so awesome.. I could hardly make it through school that day, I was completely blinded with rage for the terrorists (we had watched a documentary in Social Studies about two French reporters who had filmed inside the WTC the day of the attack).. I could hardly do ANYTHING. It sucked.
Sorry, I tend to ramble when I'm expressing views, so I'll shut up now. But all I ask of you people who don't like America and want to live in Japan or whatever..
Do some research. Look at the rights and freedoms that those citizens have. You'll find NONE of them is good as ours. Our country is as good as it gets. So many people complain about how "horrible this country is." WTF ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?!! Look at all the countries out there! If you can't make it here, you can't make it anywhere. Grr. It pisses me off. *Ahem* Anyway, I'm really gonna shut up this time.
