Buck's assertions are obviously ludicrous, but I would like to suggest that he has reached _reasonable_ conclusions.

After subjecting himself to years of loony right-wing media he is bound to adapt a "Government is the problem" schema.
At the same time, he seems to recognize some of the negative side effects of Westernization (I prefer this term over globalization). Granted, he is more aware of the negative side effects within the U.S., and probably cares little about sweatshops in Qatar.

At this point, his schema leads to cognitive dissonance, ruling government the culprit. It's not that Buck has spent time considering any alternatives. Being stuck in the modernist box, he believes the source of this malaise is either corporate or governmental. The market is sacrosanct, so he must conclude the latter to be true.

I must say that I know all this about Buck because I created him. I thought he might be able to get B.J. into the one-world government theory. I'm also writing a paper on culture jamming as a counterhegemonic strategy, so Buck could be considered "research".
