has kevin heard these guys? i'm sure he has--i want to know what he thinks. travis too.

so, what does everyone think this band means for the future of music? are oboes "in"? dulcimers? they do some pretty amazing stuff with steel drums and toy pianos, too. it may seem odd to think that all those instruments can combine to completely rock, but hooooooly SHIT. in a way, these guys are heavier than slayer. faster too. their cover of 'south of heaven' is quite possibly the best thing i've heard.

and the weird thing is--i understand they are all quakers. like, the 'society of friends' kind, not the video game kind.
