The young boy looks at the other magi. "The one who makes the dead walk- is he here? There is a creature in our village- it looks like our good Father Herzon. It even lives in the Church and wears his clothes- well, what's left of the clothes. It is not him- he would never hurt anyone. The people are afraid of him and say that he has a demon.

"Two of the men tried to kill him, but their weapons did not hurt it. Only the fire will keep it at bay. It has eaten chickens and dogs, but we are afraid that it will eat us.

"Please, our Lord Valenza is dead, can any of you help us?"
