OK, I have a question for you guys. Who has an Asheville School “small world” experience to relate? Have you ever run into a former student completely unexpectedly?

When I was in college, I was traveling with friends to Asheville for spring break and I ran into Sally Coxe ’78 at a gas station in New Jersey. Years later, I happened upon a guy I only remember as “Hoover” from the Class of ‘80 at an airport in Hartford, Connecticut. (I feel badly that I can’t remember his real name).

Anyway, I am sure some of you have much more dramatic tales to tell. Two alums from my undergraduate college class rediscovered each other on the top of one of the highest mountains in Nepal!!! Now that is a small world experience!!! So tell me folks… Are there any good stories out there? What have you got?
