Don't ever confuse the two.. Just because someone likes whatever music, doesn't mean they're a bad person or whatever..
I've seen plenty of stupid arguments like this before, about how "kids don't know about the underground" etc.. How would they know about it? They have to be introduced to this kind of stuff.. Just like you were.. I'm sure your average Slayer, Pantera etc. fan would like them other bands you mentioned, if they were exposed to them.. So don't go throwing stupid preachings around the place like you have a right to..
I listen to music that appeals to me, be it Shakira's new album or Slayers new album.. If I like it its good..
