Subject: Nu Rock bands

What's the general concensus on this new breed of 'rock' bands that have been rearing their heads recently? It seems to me that this whole rock/hip-hop crossover thang is nothin' but a load of bollox!!!

I will admit to occassionaly stickin' a bit of Linkin Park or the odd Papa Roach song on the jukebox in Bruxies, but when listening to my brothers Papa Roach album, I realised the whole thing was Teen angst Crap of the worst kind.
I mean, as all those in their twenties will remember (as it was at this time that we empathised most!), the early nineties was notorious for teenage angst, but at least they did it with style! None of this 'My momma's left, and I'm gonna slit my wrists tonight' crap!

Gone are the days of Vanessa Warwick & Headbangers Ball, at this stage I'm even starting to miss Julia Valet's 'unique' style of flashing her cleavage while she announced Korn's lastest offering!

Bring back old style rock & metal, get all these excellent unsigned bands like Corrupted, PIN etc...Signed and some decent music into the mainstream, so the poor disadvantaged nu-rock-listenin' youth of today, can have somethin' decnt to listen to!!!
