OK! Lets just all relax here. Demongrinder - some of the earlier stuff we wrote, but never played or recorded was actually grindcore. We never really re-asessed our metal category when we started gigging around Dublin. We have better things to worry about than what term we use to classify ourselves. You're right, we are no longer grindcore. Sorry if you downloaded the samples thinking you were in for a sludge or grind fest - not anymore! As someone who's been into grindcore(and still is) I can understand your dissapointment. Anyway, I don't think your earlier assessment of Corrupted being "just another Pantera/Slayer/Machinehead copy was justified or fair. Everyone has influences, but we try to make damn sure that our music is not a copy of anyone else. You've listened to the samples. So have I! Where is the Pantera? Where is the Machine Head? Where is the Slayer? I'm not provoking an argument here(not like corpsehook!), merely a discussion. If you see something in our music that we don't, point it out. I'd like to here what you have to say, as long as its not put in a contemptuous way(like your last post). I like crticism, as long as it's constructive. Anyway, thanks for your comments and don't let corpsehook get to you - he's alright really!!
