I don't think Corrupted have ever "hung out with all the cool bands in Bruxelles" either. We have all been goin' there since before Corrupted existed and will continue to drink and socialise there for a long time to come. Just because we know people from other bands and they happen to drink in the same pub as us, doesn't mean that there is some sort of elite circle goin on. I personally hate that kinda shit. I think its true that there are some bands with major egos in the Dublin scene today, but Corrupted are not one of them. When we started gigging in Dublin, we were overjoyed at the chance to play our first gig and to this day we are all still as nervous and jittery every time we take to a stage. We know there are bands out there that are ten times better than us. We also know that there are bands that are ten times worse than us. All we do is our best. We strive to be the best band that we can be. If some people take our personal high standards as allusions to superiority then they are very, very mistaken. Corrupted has never been about ego. Corrupted is, and always will be, about the music. Heavy fucking music!
