sometimes bands just want to play what they want to play. it isn't all about new ground, dizzying heights of fame or breaking new barriers. some people want to play music. some people think also that what they do is fresh, not a copy and a valid expression not done by anyone else. it is hard to do. for example, i think my band is different from any other band in dublin right now (except for the whole cjb.net thing - shit, you must love us), maybe even the whole of our country. if anyone thinks otherwise, well, i don't really care, because i'm happy with what i do.
