VoyForums Announcement: Programming and providing support for this service has been a labor of love since 1997. We are one of the few services online who values our users' privacy, and have never sold your information. We have even fought hard to defend your privacy in legal cases; however, we've done it with almost no financial support -- paying out of pocket to continue providing the service. Due to the issues imposed on us by advertisers, we also stopped hosting most ads on the forums many years ago. We hope you appreciate our efforts.

In reply to: Judy/W 's message, "Glitch lol" on 21:31:09 10/20/01 Sat

When replying to a message you will see that the reply window already has that message contained in it. I think this is so that you may quote the message with your reply if you want to.
However most of us don't want to, so you need to highlight the full body of the text inside the reply window and then hit the 'delete' button on your own keyboard, or you can right click the highlighted text and choose delete from the small menu.
The 'Clear' button below the text window will only clear YOUR text that you have just typed, it does not clear the text that is in the window ready to be quoted, you have to delete it manually if you don't want to quote it.
