Hi Kathi.
Thank you so much for your post! It helps tremendously to know we are not alone in our feelings and you are right in the once in awhile disapearing act. Seems we are all very much alike and that reminds me of a saying.. "birds of a feather" lol Thank God for small favors! You are all angels to me!

It also makes me think that I came on tonight hoping to share something with everyone again. My day started out very very rough once more but I was determined to turn it around. When I finally mustered the strength around 5pm.. boy oh boy.. I started my usual chores but this time I found myself drawn to dig out old information on preparing for Y2K. Wierd I know but I found some very interesting stuff I had printed out.

One notebook talked specifically with psychological responses dealing with the chaos to follow Y2K. What's interesting is if you take the "Y2K' out of the equation and replace it with "Terrorism" it fits the same way.

"The Psychological Challenges of Terrorism (Y2K)
Denial
Anger
Fear
Depression & Panic
Acceptance & Cooperation

I don't think any of us here are in a panic mentality but we have all been experiencing the depression. If that's the case then the next step is to go to Acceptance & Cooperation.

So we accept the fact our worlds have changed and that's a very difficult thing to do. It takes time to adjust and I have no doubt we are doing this now.

The next part will be the best part and that's helping each other through it. So it seems to me Kathi, you hit the nail on the head. We need to share our healing experiences. That's what we need to do!

I healed my lousy day by becoming focused on what I could do to prepare for rougher days ahead. It sure gave me inspiration and my hope and faith increased as well. Sounds like a video game doesn't it? :) Anyway.. we must love to talk to each other!! I'll cut this here and again, thank you and so glad to meet you!

much love to you'
Vicki
