This is a great topic.. and ya know it brought back a rather funny experience that I hadn't thought of in years. This might not be quite what you were looking for, but I'll share it just to give you all giggle. :-)
This happened 16 years ago,, I know this because I had just found out I was pregnant with our first son. There was a psychic that came from our area and had written a book and was in town to give a talk. My sister and I decided this would be fun,, we had both been into metaphysics for years. So off we go to this hotel where David was giving this little workshop. Now, I must tell you that my sister and I have great fun and have gotten dirty looks in card shops etc. because we get the giggles wayyy too easily.
David had taught us a pretty cool tool that night that works with the "Cosmic Forces" and manifestation. It's pretty basic and it does work.... You breathe in and you say "I bring the cosmic forces into my body".... and in your outbreath you continue with saying "Asking for strength, protection and guidance". You do this 3 times and then you can ask the Cosmic Forces for help by saying "Cosmic Forces, I would like a great night's sleep" (example) When you are done asking, you hug "yourself" and say thank you, thank you, thank you. Simple enough right?
Welllll, we learned that little ditty and went on to attempting to see our auras and it was REALLY quiet and intense in this conference room of many people... and my lovely sister leans over to me and very quietly wispers to me.. "Do you think I could ask the Cosmic Forces to get rid of my gas?" :-) Needless to say, that did it for me and we were trying sooo hard to suppress the giggles (not very successfully ;-)) and we again got those strange looks much like when we almost got thrown out of the card shop!
Funny too,,, after a while she leaned over and said 'ya know, they DID get rid of my gas!" LOL
What's the saying? Spirit works in mysterious ways! And funny at times!
