Here's one of mine...

My first experience with a psychic was an eye opener. I was very sceptical to say the least. The woman I went to was older, very normal looking with nothing fancy to catch my eye and that's why I picked her. She asked immediately to hold my hand and after a few moments she smiled at me and said she thanked me because I was one of the most positive souls she had ever encountered. (That was strange in itself because even though I've had many tragedies in my life, I've always searched for the positive.)

She went on to say "you're married" and I thought oh boy, how could she not see my wedding ring. lol

She then said "you have two children". I'm thinking yeah.. good guess since most people have two in this country.

She went on to say "you have a boy and a ... she hestitated. After a minute or two she said.. "you have two boys". I said yes, alittle concerned now. She said "the reason I hesitated was because one of your sons has the emotions of a female. He is a very gentle soul and a very old one". That really blew my mind because she was exactly right. I'm not talking alittle sensitive here, he is extreme in his sensitivities.

She went on "your youngest son is going to bring you trials and you will need to show him tough love". She repeated the tough love part quite a few times and told me to steer him towards science and the arts. This is really getting interesting now because she has my two sons pegged to a T. My youngest son is the artist and has always been fascinated by science. His two strong points. Hmmm...

She then concentrated on me and told me you have had a couple of health problems and rubbing her legs said here and placing her hand in the center of her chest said and here. Again this woman was exactly right. I had developed a hiatal hernia and phlebitis while I was pregnant. Whooo weeeee. Now she's good. I mean really good!

I finally felt the courage to ask her about my music which I had been working on for a few years. She thought for a few moments and told me to search for something called the "poets exchange" or something along those lines. She told me to go to the library and search. She said I needed to get published but she didn't seem to know much about the business in general.

Then lastly I asked her what about my husband? She concentrated again and told me he was a professional of some sort. A musician she finally declared. A drummer to be exact and again she was correct. Unbelieveable!! She gave me no further information on him and after a few more very interesting statements we ended the session. What a neat lady!

My story doesn't end there though. This happened back in 91 or 92 and in 1994 I finally came online. I wanted to do something with my music and searched for other songwriters to try to get help. I was blown away when searching AOL I found a songwriter's workshop that was called the "Demo's Exchange". I joined and in a couple of years had half a dozen or so songs published through them. Amazing!!

One more thing. My husband and I split in 96 and I never saw it coming till the very end. Somehow, someway I believe that woman knew we wouldn't be together long and in her own way was telling me so. I have also had to show my youngest son much tough love within this last couple of years and I still do to this day. He is my beacon but he has no fear and he has also become a musician himself. Very talented for such a young age. What an experience.

I know in my heart now that there really are people out there that can tap secrets that seem impossible. Here it is ten years later and I still can see her face and here her words. I am humbled. :)
