Seeing Mac ready to ride out, he mounts Smoke and whistles for Tex, his own round-up partner, and trots over to where Mac, Joe, and Riena were waiting.

He smiles and waves goodbye to Riena, then calling back to the group. *Be expecting a good bunch in you return Mac* He laughs jokingly and then tends to his mare. *I"ll have the North paddock all fixed by the time you get back, it should be big enough* Waving a farewell he turns and leads Toffee off.

+..Tightening the cinch with a final tug, she flips the reins over her comical little gelding's head, rouding to his near side and swinging aboard with practiced ease. Settling into her tack and groping momentarily for her right stirrup, she jogs the little gelding towards the others. Halting, he jitters beneath her in anticipation. It had been a good while since either have them had ridden out on a round up, and his adrenaline was pumping at least twice as hard as her own..+
