Fantastic news about the changes Lee is making! If these changes are true, Lee is demonstrating that he's an excellent manager and head coach in that he will not tolerate anything but excellence and 100% commitment. He's also sending a very clear message to potential recruits that Cal Poly is about winning and not just showing-up.

You're correct Steinbrenner, Larry is not at Cuesta anymore. He's coaching in the Big West Conference, one of the top 3 baseball conferences in NCAA Division I. He knows full well that he can't hide behind a .500 record and claim he doesn't have the facilities. At Poly he has it all (academics, location, facilities and full scholarship funding) and he's going to make the most of it.

Keep it going Larry! Kick some ass and take us to the regionals.

Note to John McCutcheon and all other Poly coaches. Time to take a page from the Larry Lee playbook!
