The bookstore (the Foundation) & the administration need to get on the same page!!!!!! Apparently, the man in the position of ordering CAL POLY named apparel is from some other part of the country and needs to be educated on what CAL POLY's athletic dept. is trying to do......by marketing the new logo......better yet, he needs to have a meeting with President Baker & John and resolve the matter.

I have listened to a number of different university announcers, when they are playing CAL POLY, doing play-by-play and color. And, the most commonly used phase when identitying CAL POLY seems to be "CAL POLY SAN LOUIS OBISPO" or a little better, "the CAL POLY Mustangs". The athletic dept. and in particular the S.I.D.'s office needs to call that school's S.I.D.'s office and radio station(s) of the school we are going to play that week and explain that we wish to be called "CAL POLY" or "the Mustangs" every year until it finally sinks in!!!
