and... well..., their projected attendance figures were way to unrealistic. If those figures were still the objective, I highly doubt they could be achieved with North and South Dakota State and Northern Colorado.

I think the 'fit' would more or less be one-side and benefit the new D-1AA schools mentioned for that new conference... unless you're speaking to a hypothetical new conference that is more western oriented?
