The band needs to sit by the cheerleaders on the home side not in the end zone. There are traditional pep songs they can play to get the crowd into the game like almost every school in the nation does. The whole school should work together and there should be promos and pre-game rallies. There needs to be a student section as well as a booster or fan section. People are cheering they are just too spread out to hear. Get a microphone to fire up the crowd. Then the team needs to win. This is true for all sports but football stadiums are bigger so the crowd needs to sit together to be heard.
