..... As I understand it, the two kinds of Talmud have been translated long ago into English, and are available in libraries. But the volume of the material is so large, that not many would be interested in reading it all, except very pious Jews with lots of time to spare. After all, the contents, as I understand it, do NOT supersede the 5 books of "Moses" of the Hebrew Bible, but are only a record of the opinions of Jewish clergy related to the oral interpretations of the Laws of Judaism that were handed down over centuries.
