yea i mean it gets started real early in the christian church.. You get the early christian leaders interpreting parts of the jesus stuff as saying jew's were the seed of the devil.. (a joke jesus apearently used toward others sometimes) christians in mideval times were convinced the jews were doing all sorts of anti-christian magic and sticking pins in jesus's holy cookies and junk. One of the
primary rumors before ww2 was a little jewish boy in austria had abducted and eaten his school teacher in a secret jewish ritual. Today you see christian right wingers saying "the law" (Torah) is witchcraft. And much of the christian world rails about the now somewhat disclosed Kabbalah.. Basically Christianity views all religion that is not itself as evil.. and in this way fuels hatred of others. beyond that all the other factors the others have said are true as well.. Most importantly the Jewish community at least where my family was from was very liberal and stood very strongly for non oppression of the weaker by the stronger as a tennant of Judaism. This makes
right wing extreemists and fascists very very mad and todays general liberal bashing is still an extension of that
