I am not a Christian Jew Muslim Taoist Buddhist or any denomonation of ANY religion. My own personal beliefs are Yes, Jesus was a man, and he was a good teacher. There is a higher being, be it God Yahweh Ba'al Buddah or a great mass of Spiritual Energy in the Center of the Universe in which those who attain enlightment go to rest. There is however not one correct religion, not one chosen people and not one way to live one's life for God. Tradition is nothing without Belief. Belief is nothing without ones own personal reflection on the environment in which they are surrounded. To follow one religion, one set of beliefs without any personal thought into a matter is not only FALSE, it perpetuates mass stupidity and allows the masses to be controlled through a very incidious means. Read: Form your own beliefs. Do what in life makes you happy, as long as it doesn't infringe on the happiness of others. YOU ARE YOUR BROTHERS KEEPER (do what you have the means to do to help others). These are truths I have formed in my life, and I learn something new every day. Putting your trust in one faith, one book, one way of life is seed for Destruction.
