Как заявил по возвращении в Тбилиси президент Грузии Эдуард Шеварднадзе, президент США Джордж Буш заверил, что "США сделают все, чтобы обеспечить безопасность Грузии от посягательств".
По его словам, для России существует "красная линия", которую она не может перейти. "Американский лидер проявил сдержанность, и я много не ругал Россию", - пошутил президент Шеварднадзе.
