The research that we did in class about an all-new random work of art helped us in a variety of ways. It opened us up to a work of art that we like, regardless of the reasons behind this liking. It never hurts to look beyond the mandatory chapters because it gives a look into the future, which can always help us better understand the past. The reason why this sort of classwork was found appealing by the class is because it was not something assigned by the teacher. As strange as it sounds, us students tend to dislike something simply because the teacher implies that we learn it. That burden isn't there when the assignment is chosen by the student.
Research on a Work of Art
