Hi Kat:

Unfortunately no ! I speak from some minor experience. Many years ago I was elected to a executive of a local union. We had a meeting in a town about 75 miles away and we were given about 300 dollars to cover expenses. My net expenses for the weekend totalled about 30 dollars since the rooms and food were already covered by the Union. When I wanted to give the remaining 270 back I was told to shut up and not rock the boat. I argued that this was ridiculous and that I was going to bring it up at the next meeting. I was advised that this would not necessarily be a wise move as someone might get hurt. God this was simple local union stuff and the bribes and graft and theft were already flying.

Do you honestly believe that anybody can even get elected dogcatcher without being tainted and the higher you go the more you owe and the dirtier you get and the more favours you owe. The larger the donation the bigger the favour.

Sorry Kat, yes I honestly believe ALL POLITICIANS, ALL OVER THE WORLD ARE CORRUPT.

Remember money is indeed the Root of All Evil !
