Not to worry, the swines have stopped the pub quiz for the next couple of weeks.Drat.It was such events that inspired the clever idea to go to Sutton Coldfield on the promise that the lovable Irish dungeon that is O`Neils was open till one O`clock in the morning.It wasn`t and 'Mr touch it' our dear friend somehow, whilst enquiring what time last orders was managed to get yours truly and the mighty magical Mr Hughes (our new 'organist')to perform at the live jam night.Those lucky enough to be in the pub were treated to a hauntingly beautiful rendition of the Undertones classic 'Teenage kicks', with myself taking over Bass duties, the right honourable Mr Hughes on guitar and a random drummer.Mr Hughes then played 'Star spangled banner' on the guitar , the night ended abruptly and we beat a hasty retreat to the super scary taxi rank, which is cleverly constucted out of a cardboard box in a carpark.Hooray.
