The sermons as of late in my church have me looking up. I actually heard my pastor 65yrs A Southern Baptist PHD. From SBTS. Say we need to be enlightened by the world. We ie.christians need to be as worldly wise as we are biblicaly sound. Make no mistake about what I am saying christians should never be trolls who live under a bridge and rock back and forth holding a bible, but to say we believers need to be enlightened to the worlds wisdom is beyond the danger point! I can't believe I am sitting in a Baptist church an hearing " we need more than the bible" " the bible isn't enough" It left me & my wife in shock. Has anyone felt this "enlightenment" " world wise" " purpose driven lie" "psycholgy driven" false gospel creepng into their church. I am really trouble by this. I preached in place for my pastor last Sun. And 99.9% of the congregation came to me after and said I haven't heard a sermon like that in 40 yrs. And that they still felt the spirit all week long and when our pastor returned he spoke all this false doctrine today. I am truly troubled with this I really love my Pastor and I feel he may be being led asray. I guess my question is this does anyone else see this false doctrine seeping into the pulpit? Also how do you pray for your pastor about this? I have prayed that he see the HOLY SPIRIT as his guide and the bible as a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path, but this false doctrine keeps getting worse every Sun. Does anyone else have this going on Thanks... Darwin
