Today I want to talk about a book and movie entited "Catch Me if You Can" (this title was a music number many years ago by a group called the Dave Clark Five), which describes a true event. Let me describe the movie from http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&...o&id=1807745519
Frank Abagnale, Jr. (DiCaprio) worked as a doctor, a lawyer and as a co-pilot for a major airline - all before his 18th birthday. A master of deception, he was also a brilliant forger whose skill gave him his first real claim to fame. At the age of 17, Frank became the most successful bank robber in the history of the United States. FBI Agent Carl Hanratty (Hanks) had made it his prime mission to capture Frank and bring him to justice, but Frank is always one step ahead of him, baiting him to continue the chase.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I will only mention two items, without giving away the story.
1. Frank passed a state bar exam, without ever going to law school, after only two weeks of study.
2. Frank was finally catch and sentenced to 12 years in prison. But the FBI asked his opinion on a couple of check forgeries. Because Frank knew so much, he was given the opportunity - which he accepted - to go work for the F.B.I., and serve out his sentence. He went on to solve many forgery cases for them and made millions from anti-forgery measures he devised for banks and private industry.
------------------------------------------------------------
Does crime pay or what?
The only thing more unbelievable then this is that rock star Kid Rock teams up with rock star Sheryl Crow to record the single "picture". And if that isn't unbelievable in and of itself - it's climbing to the top of Country and Western music charts.
