Pandora's box -- don't malign it. When it was opened, yes all manner of undesireable things escaped, but the point was the one thing that was held back and never left her -- HOPE.

As far as the Anglican communion goes, the Crown may be the titular head, but the primary voice of doctrine within the Church is the See of Canterbury, which is now elected by Parliament. As I recall, the latest Abp. of Canterbury is a pagan who believes in the radical gay agenda. So the new US Abp.is right in line with that.

The Canadian branch has been toying with adopting the radical gay agenda for years, going so far as to endorse gay "marriage" a little over a year ago, thus undermining the Canadian Supreme Court's authority and providing the basis for the legalization of such unions. This did not cause the any mass exodus from the episcogaylians then, and it probably won't now.

On a more positive note, the episcopalians probably made this choice in order to help fight the recession, by putting all the out-of-work architects back to work. Just think. They'll have all those churches that have to be redesigned and retro-fitted, so all the people will be able to come through the back door.
