Question from Desiree

I have met a lady with a nde , she had met the Lord and was sent back to her family in her body. She is quite confused that she could not stay with Jesus. She is experiencing unbelief and feels she is not taken seriously by her family. She feels she cannot share her story to relatives and friends and was very happy to find a person to listen to her experience.

Who has met others with NDE experience?

I don't know if you all have read up on this, but the type of NDE one has is dependent upon a persons religious beliefs, worldview, cultural life, and over all concept of being.

Did you know and its documented, if your Christian you will have a "Christian"/Jesus experience, if you believe in UFO's a UFO alien experience, if Buddhist a Buddhist experience.....

One Example:
"...the Tibetan Book of the Dead's description of it it is remarkably similar to the beings of the light in near-death experiences. Buddhists believe this light to be the light from all the enlightened ones which is indistinguishable from true essence of everyone. As it is with Buddhism, near-death experiences have been described as a light changing into various personalities...

I'm a Christian apologetics buff, and I have seen people contend for the faith on this point to only lose miserably. If one tries to use NDE as proof that Jesus is the ultimate reality because He is the one seen in NDE's you will be completely blown out of the water with contradictory evidence.

In NDE Christians see Jesus, Buddhist's see various personalities, UFO believers see aliens..... this point is mute, its NOT scriptural and one should NOT contend for the faith or have one's own faith strengthened on this point.

I have spoken with countless deeply religious non-Christian people who's religious beliefs have been strengthened to the utmost point of belief based on "spiritual experiences" be it NDE or other and Jesus was no were to be found in them. I have a Buddhist friend who can not be argued out of his beliefs because of profound out of body and mystical experiences. All equal to anything found in the Christian experience.

It all gets down to this, Christianity is based on faith in the work of Christ on the Cross, Christ risen, and scripture alone. To base ones beliefs in Christ on "religious experiences" or personal encounters is a domed faith. Beliefs and doctrine's based on religious experiences always lead down the road into false doctrines and teachings. Just look at the crazy things we see now days in main stream Christianity and Christian TV because of "experiences" and so called "encounters" and "special messages" from God that are NOT based on scripture!

Give me faith in a Christ risen and let me take that message into the world!

How is this possible?
How are we to do so?
Amen is quite interesting, but how?
It is a real danger as they all see something different.
