High Randy

Thank you for the links below, they were just great! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

(Steve or Ray the following has some hard words about some of the teachers we see today in the Pentecostal movement. Please remember my personal beliefs do include many aspects of Pentecostal Theology. I privately speak in tongues, believe in special healings... but I do have big problems with many of today’s mainstream Pentecostal teachers.)

Randy PMJI - But yes there are differences in beliefs with in Pentecostal churches. For the most part they ALL agree on Essential Fundamental Christian Doctrines and that's good.

Some of the major dividing points(not to name them all here) with in the Churches are, how the Gifts of the Spirit are to be used, disputed beliefs of speaking in tongues as being necassary for being filled with the Holy Spirit/some hereticals with in this church group even say its necessary for salvation, disputed beliefs on "Gods Economy" with mankind (it has erred so far in some cases one teacher stated "man can become little gods"), then how Christians are to interact with Satan and fight with the powers of darkness, the list go's on and on. Some of the teachings are out right nutty.
Then you have issues with "Oneness Pentecostals" who's teachings are rejected by the Pentecostal church as a whole.

The most damaging doctrines now wide spread with in the Pentecostal church today is with the $eed Faith and Word Faith (wolfs in sheep clothing) teachers.

Randy this is a big subject. Steve, Ray, and you should know that I don't have a problem with Pentecostal Theology as presented in Pentecostal Theology student text books. My home Church that is non-denominational is Evangelical/Conservative/"Pentecostal" in nature and its teachings.

I believe recent years with teachers who have now taken over and changed the very nature and teachings of "Mainstream Pentecostal Churches", teachings and doctrines ones like Oral Robert’s(the founder of $eed Faith teachings) and others like Copeland, Hinn, Hagin, Hickey, Paul and Jan Crouch(of TBN) they have erred so greatly they successfully taken the Pentecostal Church in general out of the camp of Christianity.
To really make my point, I believe the Roman Catholic Church is closer to Christ and more Biblically correct than the above stated teachers. If I had to pick between the two as my only source "fellowship" for the rest of my life, I would choose the Roman Catholics. That's nothing light for me to say Randy, and you know that!
