He described all popes from 1278 or so onward, including the 3 "anti-popes" (The "Babylonish Captivity"), and in modern times John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI. Now there is supposed to be one more regular pope, then the "final" pope, Peter the Roman, who will take the remaining church of the faithful underground, to protect it from a great persecution.

Naaah. That couldn't be it. How could a Catholic do anything good for Christianity? (nudgenudge thinkthink)
