Actually, the reason why The Trial wasn't finished was because it hadn't reached the halfway point when Nick cancelled the show.

Yeah, the 1/2 episode thing sucks dooky. And to make matters worse, Zim is getting pulled off it's Friday night timeslot and getting replaced with A Jimmy Neutron series. *random curse word here*
