I did have another idea. I read somewhere that, when people are angry, they notice things are wierd or things are going wrong, and they can't explain it. Since Jake is angry that zim was cancelled, he may be affecting things with the power of his mind. I mean, think about it. He's just sitting in his room, when his light goes out, and his books fall. The bird, well, he may have felt that something was wrong or was about to happen. That may be why he chirped. Another reason i belive this is that strange things are happening to me to. The cupcake, i can't explain. Hope this helps!
