由於G3在設計土是利用反作用力原理，因此它並不具有瓦斯活塞等零件。當子彈發射時會在槍機前面形成一股壓力而使得槍機打開，而為了要防止槍機過早打開，必須要有一定時間的閉鎖，這也就是位於槍機左右兩側的滾軸閉鎖系統的功用。
G3的原型槍是CETME型步槍，當初在對後者進行改良時，原本是要朝突擊步槍的方向並採用小口徑子彈的設計，但是後來受到美國的影響，於是把口徑改為7.62mmx51而完成G3型步槍。由於G3所使用的彈藥威力過於猛烈，因此在全自動連續射擊的模式之下，想要控制好槍的穩定性是非常不容易的。

Indeed in the game, G3A3 is nearly the most accurate assault rifle with less dispersion .It is not used by Germany army now.(replaced by G36K). But its modified version G3SG1 HK33 and HK93 are still widely appreciated by Special forces e.g GSG9,SAS SEAL and even SDU)

For SPAS 12, it is invented by Italy not Germany.

SPAS12的最大特色，在於只要按下前謢木下方的按鈕並且移動的話，便可以進行半自動射擊模式或是手動幫浦式的切換。SPAS12出現的原因，是由於義大利軍方希望能夠發展出一種近身戰鬥用的軍用散彈槍，於是才由法蘭奇公司負責來進行設計。SPAS12是以PC80型白動彈槍作為基體，除了保留這種散彈槍原有的射擊模式之外，同時也加入了手動幫浦式的射擊模式，射手可以自由進行切換。
SPAS12是屬於一種戰鬥型散彈槍，在後端的握柄上附有握柄保險，槍托則是利用鋼板壓鑄成型加工法來製造的。此外，槍管同樣也是利用鋼板壓鑄成型加工法來製造，在槍管下方的護木有許多通氣孔，而且在謢木的四周包裹了一層橡膠．以便可以隔絕射擊後槍管所產生的熱量。SPAS12同時具有幫浦式與半自動射擊兩種模式，因此就散彈槍而言，它是屬於一種較為笨重的產品，但是反過來說，由於SPAS12的重量較重，因此射擊時的後座力非常溫和，操作起來也很輕鬆。
