希治閣最典型的驚悚片代表作之一。編劇 John Michael Hayes 根據 Cornell Woolrich 撰寫的故事改編。詹姆仕史都華、他的女友葛麗絲凱莉、以及說話犀利的女看護茜兒瑪莉塔，這三人在片中的組合互動表現，真是絕頂！
