「輸波」的心情，我已與八年來的羽毛球隊身同感受了不知多少遍！在實力懸殊的情況下，敗了當然無話可說；若然實力或形勢比人強，落敗的心情實在很難受。

羽毛球隊在這八年來曾兩度奪得學界第二組（Division 2）冠軍，在第一、二組浮沉，成績中規中矩，全賴各隊員的努力，而我本人也就只能充當領隊一職，在技術支援上實在不足（但願今年請來的教練能扶他們一把！），故只能在我能力範圍內盡量支持他們，與他們同喜同悲。

其實，作為校隊成員，除了以爭勝為其中一個目標外，最重要還是鍛練自己那份堅毅不屈的精神，「勝不驕，敗不餒」仍是參賽者應有的精神。我很愛運動，足球、籃球、羽毛球、乒乓球、手球、桌球（難以置信吧！）、保齡球......全都令我著迷！我並不是能手，但參與其中已教我樂而忘返。

我很羨慕那些能代表學校出賽的同學，除了這是一份光榮外，我還深信比賽能令人變得更強。最後，我祝願聖芳濟的足球隊、籃球隊、乒乓球隊及羽毛球隊能在學界比賽中奮勇作戰，並獲取理想成績。
