.other. Juri first appears in the semi-final episode. She is called as a replacement referee when Koto was removed after making an "officiating mistake". She takes her job very seriously, and cares a lot about the rules. She remains cheerful throughout all of the fights, however, Juri's main flaw is the fact that sometimes she gets afraid in the ring during the fights.

In Genkai's fight with Shissiwakamaru, he unleashes an attack that kills some people in the audience. Juri flees the stadium claiming they don't pay her enough. Also, after Hiei kills Makentaro (also from team Uraitogi), she is freaked out by the body and asks for a clean up crew and then says, "I hope cleaning that up isn't part of the referee job." All in all, Juri does a job equal in quality to Koto, who was unfairly fired.
